Tourney tent set up
 

W has obtained a tent for the tourney and we need some help setting it up. We will meet at Calcasieu Point at 1600 (4 pm) on Friday, August 3.

If you can make it, please post in this thread.

W, what tools or whatever do we need to set it up and how long do you think it will take?

Thanks to everyone for your help and support of this event.

I will be available to help. I also need some help picking up the chairs and tables at Grand Rental Station on Friday. There will be 9 tables and 70 chairs. If any body has a trailer we can load up that would be a big help.

Meaux, according to my current schedule I will be off that friday (9-80 schedule). I can help you pick up chairs no problem and might can line up a trailer. And can help with tent set up.

Not 100% sure but I will try to get there Friday and if I do make it I will help.

Bob, I had a Dr appt yesterday that got moved to that Friday at 2pm. What time did you want to get the tables and chairs? If nothing else, I can pull the trailer there and drop it to you and meet up after my Dr. appt. Where are we storing them Friday night?

whatever time works for everybody else. I was thinking some time after noon and before we set up the tent. I hadnt really thought about where we would store the tables. Cant really leave em at a camp because they need to be there on saturday and everybody will be fishing. Maybe the people at Calcasieu Point will let us store em in the bait room?

How many chairs and tables we talkin?

I have a doc appt at 2 at Memorial. Can meet yall at Grand Rental about 1:30 or earlier.

Bring the 6 x 16 just to be safe. 130 is good with me. You can just drop the trailer off and we'll load up on my truck. Any overflow we can put in Cory's truck.

I spoke with Sulphite about the chairs the other day. My house is pretty much on the way out to the point and I offered to leave the trailer full parked under my car port and him get them on his way out there since he isnt fishing. Thoughts? Or was something else already lined up?
