hayden1414337 08-28-2012 08:31 PM

mriguy 08-28-2012 08:35 PM

Good looking Xpress, I have a H20CC. Is that a 22 bay?

hayden1414337 08-28-2012 08:37 PM

20ft bay I had the 20ft cc camo before the bay rides a whole lot better but I miss the hd camo bc it was an awesome all around boat

1fastmerc 08-28-2012 08:39 PM

Nice looking boat. I've always liked an xpress boat. Let us know how it rides.

Nice. I had a HD18. OUCH

hayden1414337 08-28-2012 08:43 PM

It rides really good not like a glass boat boat though two different leagues but put together pretty good xpress is starting to up it a little in the accersories kinda like the dodge trucks haha

jchief 08-28-2012 08:44 PM

I really like the Bay series. Totally different hull than the HD.

hayden1414337 08-28-2012 08:50 PM

Couldn't agree more the hd the bottom hull had a lot of flex in my opinion compare to the bay series

simplepeddler 08-28-2012 08:52 PM

happy for you man!

BIG RED 1983 08-28-2012 08:55 PM

Hyperlift rides much better than people think, its not like a glass boat, but its pretty good. If its too rough for my boat, I really would not want to be out in any bay boat.

With that being said, my next boat will be at least 22 ft and fiberglass.

Do you have the 115 or a 150hp? Wish I would have put the 150, I have seen 40 mph once with the 115.

hayden1414337 08-28-2012 09:07 PM

Me to I had the 150 on my order but I changed at last minute. I run 43 at 6000 rpms and around 37-38 5600 rpms. I have a cajun jacker 6 in jack plate and once they tuned it in rode a lot better

I run about 37-38 at 6000, but I have throttle left . Any idea on what prop you have?

all star rod 08-28-2012 09:16 PM

I have the Xpress bay 22'....o9 model. I have the 150 four stroke....With 3 peeps and gear plus 40gal fuel I cruse at 37-40 at 4700-4900 rpms getting a solid 4 miles per gallon. Max speed is 47-50mph.

Montauk17 08-28-2012 09:24 PM

Very nice boat....Dana makes a awesome jack plate run a 6" on my whaler.

getonfish 08-29-2012 10:49 AM

hayden1414337 08-29-2012 11:33 AM

Montauk17 08-29-2012 11:35 AM

Yep....my dad knows him very well. Bet he is throwing a hurricane party at his shop right now.

hayden1414337 08-29-2012 11:41 AM

yeah I wouldn't doubt it

mstulb 08-29-2012 12:06 PM

Nice boat perfect set-up

weedeater 08-29-2012 12:15 PM

I really like those boats but with you could put more HP on them

hayden1414337 08-29-2012 12:40 PM

Yeah I know I know a guy down in houma that beefed up his transom and put a 175 vmax but he did all the work himself that 20 ft xpress flies haha

weedeater 08-29-2012 02:54 PM

Some of the motors are same size up to around 200hp and I had a 200vmax on my 19' xpress bass boat...... politics

Would you guys say that the Express is the way to go for value? Would you own fiberglass for the ride? Im looking to go 22ft. by Christmas, just can't make up my mind beteeen the Express and a number of differemt fiberglass hulls. Blazer Bay, Haynie, Nautic Star, Ranger and Champion. So far Blazer Bay is winning for the value. Any wisdom would appreciated.

david79thomas 09-04-2012 09:27 PM

Nice boat! How are you liking the Talons?

Fiberglass hands down better ride and sooner or later aluminum boats seams will crack. It will take a long time but it will happen
Hard to beat blazer bays... Have you looked at bluewaves and tritons?

DUCKGOGETTER 09-05-2012 07:02 AM
