How bad is boat?
There's a place on Hwy90 just before u get to benglis parkway on the North side of Hwy 90.
You have to remove everything that is not aluminum, styrofoam flotation, little mounting screws, all that stuff if you want the best price.

Boat needs a weld around the plug. It leaks there and that's all. Maybe transom redone
Pics of boat?

Sell it on here, get much more than the recycling place. Everyone needs a leaking aluminum boat leaned up next to the camp, seriously:)
I would keep it Brayden. Fix it up, get you a little 8 or 12 horse go devil, and use it in Sabine. Run your outboard as far in as you can then launch that little boat with the go devil and get even further in the marsh. Get real far away from the idiots

Scrap aluminum price is 45c per pound. The boat must be stripped of all foam, wood and anything else that is not aluminum. That's not very easy, you have to cut the seats and transom open. Weld or glue that baby and make it a pond boat that you paddle or use with a trolling motor. I don't think that you need papers if it is only used in private waters.

What boggles me is...you are allowed to run in lacassine (which actually has vegetation that you could disturb) if you can get a boat in as long as your not in the wilderness area, but you cant run in Sabine that is very boat accessible and has no grass? Kind of like you have to shoot steel so the ducks don't eat the lead and get sick.....I'm not buying either story |
They won't allow running the marsh because of the pirouges and stuff. Not the "vegetation" lol
The pirogues just need to learn how to get out the way
Lol I agree. Think I hunt with your cuz mcnab.

Back yard is a little flooded right now. Boat is under my barn. Taking pics for y'all tomorrow, water has just about dropped
Size? make?
It's a 10ft alum boat, wooden transom, 3 bench seats, and old. It's not some gem.
Is it beat up or just old and dirty?
It's so old I don't know who made it.
