Teal hunting this last weekend?
 

Has anyone else on here seen these face book posts bout ppl hunting teal in la this weekend? Buddy texted me n said he saw one. What are these ppl thinking? Attachment 55526

Not sure, but I think it was a Youth hunt weekend. At least thats my guess.

My wife was telling me it was all over FB this past weekend and asking me about it. I figured they must have had a youth day or it was people going over into Texas, but looks like Texas dates are same as ours. Did people really miss it by a week???

I think so. I don't have Facebook but I saw the pics and know where some where hunting. They really missed it. If anyone knows these guys please Inform them

According to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries there is no such thing as youth weekend for teal

I could have hunted teal last weekend and not have violated the law - there just ain't no teal where we hunt -yet. Hopefully they are on their way.

I seen some people from LA post on DU migration reports that they got them an early start on the teal ( like a few weeks ago) I can't believe people are that stupid... Game and fish monitors the Internet too

The wife's grandpa called asking how the hunt went and told him it didn't open till next weekend. Apparently all of his friends were getting an early start!

It's bad when you can't even read the season dates and just take ppls word for it. What sux is the good suffer for the bad and we going to be shooting at uncomfortable birds next weekend.
