X2 on nitto grappler. I had them on my f150. Now I have them on my f250. Great tire for the road and the camp.

X100 on Open Country A/T II..... Excellent tire.

bjhooper82 10-30-2013 08:11 PM

Nitto trail grapplers here too. I have them on a Z71 and love them. They are a little noisy but I actually like the hum. They ride very good also. I know people getting 50k + out of them.

cajunforeman 10-30-2013 09:00 PM

Toyo open country on my f150. I have almost 60k on mine. Don't gets wrongs crew calls them "may pops" now but they have been a great tire. Leblanc tire in Jennings is the cheapest but everyone is on at least a 30 day back order. Trust me, I've called almost every dealership around.

X2. I love em. They look good and I'm on 65k miles on my Z71

MarshRat89 10-30-2013 09:12 PM

Toyo actually makes Nitto so they're relatively the same tire. The tread life is suppose to be near the same. Only difference I have heard is the noise factor with the Nitto's. I made it 50k miles on my last set of toyo M/T's. I'm working on 30k on this set and still have close to 50% left. Never had a mud tire last like these.

That's crazy! And I thought I was doing good. You can't have too much tread left though right?

Idk about the nittos. But I've seen people with toyo a/T's get stuck in the wet grass more than once.

speck-chaser 10-30-2013 10:16 PM

Had nittos a/ts on my first set on my tundra. They were ok. Got Toyo m/ts now seem to be holding up pretty good.

Dem thangs be high. Price difference compared to the 18's is like $400 I think. I got dem dubs too. $1400 is a lick for some tires.

Tell me about it!!! I be rotating religiously to get every penny out of them.:work:

Reggoh 10-31-2013 08:10 AM

I don't know if you're looking for a true mud grip but the BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO is a jam up tire... I had a friend that had a set on his 3/4 Ton Ford for about 80,000 miles so I put a set on my GMC... They've been going strong for about 65,000 miles... I think I could get another 15,000 out of em.... Had I rotated them a little more frequently instead of being a procrastinator I think I could have gotten 100,000 out of em.

Quackhead62 10-31-2013 08:12 AM

I just ordered some 34" Nitto trail grapplers this morning when I got to work

Allied in Broussard beat them on my last set of toyos, and did it by 10%.
