bjhooper82 02-14-2014 10:58 PM

Acme oyster house is pretty damn good. Their fried oysters are the best!!

Drago's. Though the location in Metry (less annoying, overdone hustle by the staff for tips from the touristas)

DannyI 02-14-2014 11:22 PM

Drago's

Top Dawg 02-15-2014 07:13 AM

Dragos that's it. Thanks

specktator 02-15-2014 08:05 AM

NBA All Star weekend in NOLA this weekend. Said there will be a million people in the city this weekend.

Ducktrickster 02-15-2014 08:54 AM

Drago needs to hire some shuckers that don't leave shells in the oysters. I like my teeth and don't enjoy crunchy oysters.

I guess so. I wouldn't want anything to do with Nola this weekend.

If you coming from LC, honestly Phare's next door to Lafayette Shooters has very good fire roasted oysters.

Yep. Went to Voo Doos BBQ, BBQ shrimp , brisket , onion rings, overstuffed jerk chicken potato . It was all good. Potato could have had more jerk seasoning But overall good.

Ate the oysters at harbor. Pretty damn good. Big oysters. Tomorrow gonna try the dday museum

Bushwacker2 02-15-2014 06:43 PM

If you go to Cabelas in Gonzales, go just across the interstate and try Mike Andersons. All seafood is good including the char grilled oysters.

You will enjoy the museum. I encourage everyone to go visit it. It's a great piece of American history.

aquaholic 02-15-2014 10:41 PM

Museum is awesome. Everyone should go. Make you appreciate the sacrifices that have been made for us to live the lives we lead.

meaux fishing 02-15-2014 11:47 PM

Check out Jaegers on clearview for good oysters too.

Matt G 02-16-2014 08:54 AM

Make sure you have a lot of time set aside for the museum. No point in going if you just rush through looking at the pictures and artifacts. Take the time to enjoy it!

May be a little late, but Burbon House is pretty good to.. Their house dressing is amazing.
