Reports & More Free Items

As most of you know that have been on here a long time we provide a $25 salty Cajun cash bonus when you post a report with pictures.

Starting next month we are going to select a fishermen of the month from the reports made on this site. This will include freshwater and saltwater plus offshore reports. The more reports you post the better your chances are for winning.

The fishermen of the month will be selected by the moderators and guides are not eligible.

After being selected your name will be announced on the site and you will receive $1,000 Salty Cajun cash. In addition to this every other month we will randomly draw a winner (you have a one in two chance) out of the two fishermen of the month and the winner will receive free Salty Cajun merchandise.

Let's get the reports going guys.... To be eligible for a report you have to report the date of your catch, what body of water you caught it in (big lake, Sabine, Toledo, etc...) and the bait used. The more details you post the better the report.

sounds like a great idea to me...Do you actually have to catch fish to report? Cause my last two trips would put me out of the running lol

I think it is a great idea and fully realize I will never be the fisherman of the month. However, I believe the comments that follow the selection of each month's winner will be a very fun read.

Thanks for continued effort to make this site better!

The reports can cover both Texas and Louisiana. Also I would love to see more reports coming from the Grand Isle area this summer.

There have been some very good detailed wade fishing reports over the last several days.

I'll be picking your brain for my vacation week this year. May 30 - June 5

And of course I'll give whatever report I can to the good folks of the forum.

I will be hauling my (cheap) boat down LA 1 every weekend that snapper season is open this summer just like last year.

Definitely going to have some reports from down there.

Lol....

I give you credit man you are a die hard. I do not have the "stones" to take a boat that size as far out as you guys go. Plus you guys catch fish, hard to argue with it.

duckman1911 02-26-2014 12:04 PM

Oh cool. Not that i'm able to compete at this level. I think it will be dang fun to keep track of. Good luck guys.

duckman1911 02-26-2014 04:16 PM

Y'all know that Big-C is fixing to take our butts to the cleaners.lol. He's a beast.

ckinchen 03-10-2014 01:55 PM

This month (March) will be our first month for the announcement.

Davewiseman 04-06-2014 08:09 AM

Great idea. I appreciate a report about water conditions, even when fish are not caught because this may save me a trip.
