It's amazing what you can do when the weather cooperates!! Got the reds and flounders early along the east bank, dropped two big flounders at the boat due to poor netting abilities. Then found some trout busting shrimp around mid lake lake once the sun came out. Probably caught 40 trout to get 8 keepers. Green hornet matrix shad and a Zara spook did the damage. 8 trout 3 reds and 2 flounders.

$170 13 Fishing Specialties reel. I don't know if there's a model name for it or anything because I can't find one. But they have two, the white one was $220 I think and the black was $170. I'm really liking the fat cork grips on the handles too. Attachment 71710

But I do have some mono backing under there though! I'll tell ya though. I never was a braid guy until a friend of mine made me use it and I really like it. I just use it for plastics in saltwater and Texas rigs for bass.
