I have been working with a new boat builder out of Kema on my new rig since I sold mine to go bigger. I tell you so far I'm very impressed with these guys as I finally got to test drive it yesterday.

Took it out on Galveston bay cruising 55 mph in 15 mph wind with no problems. I will post more as we finish the customizing

rustyb 02-08-2015 09:30 PM

Nice, what size is it? Details?

Cripley 02-08-2015 10:02 PM

23'6" 250 Honda Vmax 7 layers of hand laid fiberglass 102" beam across the front

jl8200 02-08-2015 10:09 PM

All the market needs is another bay boat manufacturer!

Cripley 02-08-2015 10:15 PM

I think it does I am happy to see these custom boat builders raising quality standards and building boats for customers and caring about them

marshrunner757 02-08-2015 10:22 PM

Sweet looking rig!

jl8200 02-08-2015 10:25 PM

Price is awesome in comparison to the Haynie SCB and other customs Vmax is like a turbo on a car

redchaserron 02-09-2015 12:26 PM

Looks great, but man that's bright. You'll need sunglasses even when it's overcast.

Let's just say it's pretty low for anything comparable. I love Haynie boats just felt I got more bang for my buck on this one Haynie prices have gotten pretty high

Bdub 02-09-2015 10:14 PM

Any reason for choosing a Honda over the other motors?

Bdub 02-09-2015 10:16 PM

Looks similar to a bay stealth

Cripley 02-09-2015 10:27 PM

It was what the builder distributes is Honda did some research seems like a good motor any comments u can offer

Cripley 02-09-2015 10:41 PM

FCJ Lethal 23 is the name of it

Bdub 02-09-2015 10:46 PM

Nothing wrong with a Honda in my book, they seem more like a cruising motor not a go fast motor but I've never owned one. There is one thing that goes a long with honda though and that is reliability.

It got up and moved when I got on it. Thanks I was hoping for same reliability Honda is known for.

Looking good! I agree with the Bay Stealth comment. It has very similar lines to my Epic up front.

Yes it does it also has the flare on the front of the bow same beam length. If i had to say what it reminds me of i would say Epic bottom with a Haynie top kind of the best of both boats i looked at but with a much better bottom line. I have to say i am also pretty impressed with the Honda so far on its test run.

biggun 02-10-2015 09:49 AM

I think we should have a name contest. here's mine. Orangeone!!!: :D

specknation 02-10-2015 10:21 AM

I think the boat is Longhorn orange, he made it that way to interest some University of Texas fans I would think.

T-TOP 02-10-2015 10:31 AM
