Good looking rig, who built the boat and what'd the paint job run?

Eric Richard built the boat 2yrs back for me.
2 coats paint
3 coats clear coat
Sand grit in bottom of floor and back corners where gunwell and transom meet.
Hydroturf front and back deck.
$955

Nice! I installed hydro turf in my boat recently and love it. I put the flat grey. Stuff is very comfortable on the feet.

What size is the boat? Thinking about getting Eric to build my next boat. Want to put a 70hp on the back though.

I have an 18x48 with a 40 tohatsu TLDI. Top speed 39mph
For that size motor I would go 18x52. He would probably tell you the same thing. That's what he runs with his 40 tohatsu.

Easy now. Pump the brakes. Not saying he's not good, but Karl Styron ain't too shabby neither.

True, ment to say one of the best, out of about 2 maybe 3 boat builders around. That have a name, didn't mean to step on anyone's toes.

Does he make the hull with a pad?
|

I don't know what a pad is.
But whatever you want he will do.
Customize it to your liking.
I did a 5ft front deck and 18in back deck.
His normal is 4ft and 16in
Wish I would have gone 20in back deck. I'm a big guy I can straddle that easy. But I love my rig. No regrets at all. It is solid and moves good on the water.

All depends on price of aluminium.
Mine cost 3100 for boat and Jack plate.
Used to he would buy material and add $1000. Now I'm not sure what he does. Could still be the same for him to build them now. Not sure. If you want one get in line. He always has a waiting list. I ordered mine and I was number 11 on the list. Took like 5 months. But well worth the wait.
