pink??????
ok, just wanna know if someone can shed sum light on this .ive seen several people"includin myself" fish a pink bubblegum bait:flukes,shad,corkies etc..... what the heck is it supposed ta resemble. i try ta match the hatch so ta speak. but a bubblegum color? what does it mimic? and why do fresh and saltwater species love it so much?

I actually had a conservatoin with the fellow that made corkeys about pink baits at his shop. He told me he couldnt sell a pink bait in the 70's and 80's but it became the rage in the 90's. He has the most confidance in the flesh colored baits; he thinks the pink ones just catch the fisherman. |
