whats your favorite saltwater and freshwater arificial bait?
 

Favorite bait thread. Dont give too many details :D

White lunker lure 2 blade buzz bait for bass.

LSU color and glow/chartreuse cocahoes for trout.

iv always been confused on buzz baits... the only brand im familiar with is strike king

ok fool, this time salty is starting something.

Fresh = Wat/red fluke
Salt = Glow/chartruese tail cocahoe

most productive for me
fresh= watermelon red fluke
salt= probably lsu sand eel jr

favorite to catch on
fresh= ribbit
salt= anything topwater! Haven't found anything good yet. Any pointers would be nice =)

two tone chart/glow queen sand eel...or dead shrimp on bottom :)

Well I have caught my 2 largest bass on them a 7lb 14 oz and a 8 lb. 1 oz. I have fished all the brands and the cheap 1/4 oz. lunker lure is my favorite. In murky water go with the black and slightly stained to clear fo with white. Before Henderson got screwed up by the storm the white buzz was killer.

Fresh - Watermelon w/ red flake baby brush hog. Got a 10.36 on the wall w/ it.
Salt - Live shrimp or croakers. (You said favorite BAIT not favorite lure.)

saltwater would be the strike king 3x baits in pearl/blue glimmer. y a can catch fish allllll day on 1 and still use it forever!!!

Watermelon red fluke
Nortin Sand eel glow and chartreuse

And anything on top water, top water fishing is like Crack

i did say artificail though :)

fresh- w/m red brush hog or sexy shad crankbait


salt-im gunna have to say any top water/suspending or a sand eel jr.+

freshwater- w/red brushhog, tiger crankbait.... for now, fool knows whats up my sleeve.

saltwater-glow/char sand eel jr. and glow sparkle beetle

freshwater- buzz bait w' 8" trailing lizard
Saltwater- cut kfc chicken legs

awful broad question for freshwater....depends on time of year and situation at hand I got alot of favorite fresh water baits.

Salt water.....gold spoon for reds and white cocahoe for flounder and sand eels for specks.

Salt water: winter, MirOlure, suspending over a grass bed. (Trout killa)
summer, Deadly Dudley, opening night, bay chovy
3" Berkley power bait, pogie style, Fire tigar(color)

Bass - Bomber Long "A"
Trout - Bomber Long "A"
Redfish - Bomber Long "A"

I do not freshwater fish...so cannot give an answer.
Saltwater = Berkely Gulp Shrimp (New Penny) or Bayou Chubs

freshwater...hmm...beetle spin (everything eats them) or flukes
saltwater...LSU sand eel or New Penny GULP!

I agree... freshwater is broad but here are some of my favs. baby brush hog (watermelon red) black beatle spin, DD14 red eye shad, fluke (shad) and don't forget the chartuese and white spinner bait with the gold willow leaf!!

your right about everything eating them... A shoopick off of fool's warf broke my beetle spin :(
