I can only speak of MotorGuide but the wireless models are not what you think. Just more stuff to crap out. I have a Great White 36v 105# Hyper Drive and have never used 3 batteries. That's just alot of added weight. Almost like carrying Fool fishing with ya everytime . You can run a 36v off your cranking battery and 2 trolling motor batteries. No worries. This is my third 36v. I used to run 4 batteries until Ben Hollingsworth with Trolling Motors Unlimited in Chalmette proved to me that I didn't need the 4th battery. Been running it that way since with no problems whatsoever. You want a beast...get a MotorGuide with a 3-blade metal prop. Them plastic ones flex too much...no matter how many blades they have.
