Yes, I consider myself a "conservationist". When I did fish twice a week, I released more fish than I kept but the main reason....like Chas said.....you always leave the area better than you found it.
The last 3 or 4 years that I turkey hunted, I carried nothing but a video camera. I enjoyed the sport even more than when I was whackin' 'em, yet, never took away anything from the resource.
