Took my wife out today as she has been wanting to go catch some reds.....
I also have a spot that holds good trout this time of the year and you all ways can pick up some reds..........
When I pulled up at 7am there were shrimp jumping all over and specks and reds killing em..........I told my wife hold on its about to get stupid!!!
Well first off my Wife has not fished in about 6months so she was a little rusty and with the new reel she was kind of gun shy at first!!!.....So it took a little time to get her warmed up after a few misses she picked back up quickly!!
We were on some nice specks but the reds were just a thick!!! We had the whole area to our selves not a boat in sight for miles!!! I was just taking my time with her and letting her pull in trout and reds!!! Wouldn't you know some IDIOT!!! was passing by and saw my wife sling a fish in the boat!!!! This Maggot runs up wide open about 30ft for my boat on big motor!!!!
. .........I almost lost it!!!......But I took about 4 deep breath .......... Tried to calm down!!! I trolled off cranked up and left!!!
Any way we ended up with 24 Trout 10 reds and Tagged and released about 13 reds and 3 nice trout!!!
