For what it's worth, I'm all for personal freedom also, and I hate
anyone telling me what I
have to do. I completely understand the argument that "W" and others have. Unfortunately ,there are so many people who wouldn't/didn't take the personal responsibility to buckle up for others' sake that a law had to be passed to make them do it or face the consequences. If everyone just took personal responsibility and did what is right for the common good, like wearing your seatbelt to save other motorists' lives, stupid laws like this one wouldn't need to be on the books.
