They declared a state of emergency in vermillion,iberia,and st mary parish.There trying to get the booms set up and protect the bays and hopefully marsh island coastline to sw pass. I heard that the booms will be placed hopefully tomorrow into the weekend. The oil is heading that way fast with the strong southeast winds. Whiskey island south of cocodrie already has signs of oil.
