E-10 has a history of cleaning out fuel deposits and other gunk that has built up in motors and tanks.
It also absorbs water, which is bad. If you keep your tank full, especially if you don't use it for a long time, it will help. Or use a fuel stabilizer to keep the ethanol and gas from separating.
If you use your boat a lot, you should not have many problems.
Letting it sit up without being full of gas can cause phase separation. Ethanol separating from the gas, falling to the bottom of the tank. That Ethanol will not burn in your motor unless it is mixed with the gas.
Once it separates from the gas, it won't mix back in with the gas.
Ethanol burns with less BTU's than other additives. Which means less power.
