I mostly fish Sabine but I hear Crystal surf is hit or miss right now. Head towards ferry and stop just north of the north jetty. I don't know the exact name of this stretch as all I've ever heard it called was Mexican beach. Shallow flat that is excellent wade fishing. there's a sunken cement barge that you can see from the beach, this area is good from there to the jetty. Good Luck.
