Neil & Johnny Cowen and thier friend Steve joined me today for a incredible redfish bite. This was Steves first time redfishing and man did he get spoiled!!!!!!! *Steve had the hot hand and must have caught ten or more reds himself (in the back of the boat). We had 12 reds iced down in the first hour of fishing!!! *Crystal clear water in the ponds North of Mechant all the way to Jug lake. *Didn't take long to finish the limit and then it was catch and release. *All fish caught on spinner baits and Salt Water Tackle Holographic Minnows. *Today's reds went from 17-22 inch's. Great weather, company, and bite. * Thanks guys for a incredible day, looking forward to day 2. *
