Churn Trout and redfish slam 7-25-10

Let me start by saying THANKS to all the meteorologist for the superb forecast. I cancelled three trips over the weekend thinking it was going to be anywhere from 3-7 ft seas. No where was it close to that.
Anyway, I decided last night I was going to go today no matter what. I could not get my scheduled crew to go last minute, so I called up my good friend and customer Travis Miller. It did not take much convincing for him to say 'I'M IN, LETS GO'. We left the dock around 5:30am and were greeted with calm winds, seas and beautiful green water. HUNGRY trout proceeded to jump right into our ice-chest at our first stop!!! The bite was ON big time as Travis was on a mission and was slinging in the yellow-mouths every cast. We had our fifty fish on ice around 8:00am and left them biting. All of today's fish fell victim to the double rigged chubs. As usual, NO LIVEBAIT NEEDED!! LSU was the top producer today with the glow coming in second. We made a quick stop on the way in drifting a couple banks and added seven nice reds to the box while missing a few others. All reds caught on spinner baits. We called it a day and headed in before it got too HOT!! Excellent time today as it was 'As good as it gets!!'. Thanks Travis for another exceptional trip for the books.
No oil in sight and plenty hungry trout for the taking, give me a call if you want in on the action.
