it depends,
if you can't twist the big prop then you are not getting max MPH any way.

so in this case you may actually see better performance.
google "prop speed calculator"

assume a 10% "slip" and take a look at what you have.

I have given up on top speed, but I've been blessed to own a few Allison's back in the day so it's out my system.

when fishing, set that bad boy to rocket out the swamp with a load and fish on!!!!
