I see your point and your right, since the classification of Trophy Lake, i've seen a huge increase in the amount of out of state, especially texas, fishermen, nothing wrong with that but they soley come looking for big trout now and they come in big numbers! I think the lake can support both type of fishermen. I personally enjoy doing both, some days i just want to go have fun and catch a bunch of fish, other days i enjoy looking for that one big bite, different strokes for different folks i guess. I raise my 5 kids to enjoy fishing, we go after trout, redfish, dinks, hard heads, croker, what ever, they just want to catch fish, it's funny though, sometimes they do say dad, lets go get us some big trout! Human nature to want to be the best and catch the biggest. And about soaking some live bait, that's all tongue in cheek, wouldn't take that seriously at all, heck, i'll admit, when that lake gets hot in late summer i'll be the first to go soak me some live bait down in them deeps looking for that one big lunker, besides, nothing better than soaking and having a few brews under the ole umbrella!
