went to Hopedale as planned to try and catch some trout, the bite was slow and didn't catch but 9 specks all small. Instead of trying to catch small trout I ended up going after reds. I limited out catching them on some Marshworks Bayou Thumpers. Had a great time and going back in two weeks except I'm going to go further out to catch some bigger trout.
