It is harder to kill a duck on the water than in the air with steel shot.
If you shoot on the water, the freakin bb's cover the duck, then it jumps up and flies off.
If you shoot again in the air, it will fall. Steel shot suxx on the water.
Only way I have ever seen steel shot kill on the water is if all 3 hunters shoot at the same time. Waste of shells though.
