Dularge Trout Fishing!
Cold temperatures return as we're back in the deepfreeze like early last week. Taking off a few days until warmer weather moves in later in the week. Thursday I fished with Clayton Breaux with Seacor Marine with water temps around 48-49 degrees. It was a cold predawn boat ride for the crew and the trout were sluggish for most of the morning. The guys were patient as we picked at the fish eventually filling up the big igloo with some nice quality trout from 14-20 inches. 45 nice trout along with a couple reds summed up our catch. Swim baits and LSU chubs worked best for us. The 'Big Nutria' fishing team added another 53 nice trout that day with Tommy Tidwell putting on a 'catching' clinic for the boys! Everyone had a good time catching fish. Thanks Clayton & Andy for another fun day of fishing the DU! Good luck fishing.
