As someone else said, it is an institution. I've been married since May of 09 so, not long. I have to say, the first year was hard for me. There are a lot of adjustments that you will be making, even more than you already are. For me, it was really a lot of mental blocks that I had put up on things that I WOULD NOT let go of for anyone. Well, I gave up on at least 50% of them and haven't missed any of them the first bit.

Get comfortable, but keep it interesting. Surprise her from time to time. Even when the honeymoon's over and "regular life" begins, remember to tell her that you love her and are a better person for having her in your life.
