Late getting to the lake, as soon as we got there caught a nice trout. It was foggy and no wind at all -was gonna be perfect. 5 minutes later wind picked up and remained all day. Had a friend and his 12 yr old son who has never fished from a boat. Wind and inexperience made for a fun day looking out for hooks flying
Finally got the young one on some reds and jsut couldn't get the hookset down, so tied on a circle hook and it was on. 10 trout, 4 reds, and a flattie. Wish we were there at daylight, I think a topwater bite could have been real good. Friend caught a pretty big 'W' also on 12 lb test, made for an adventure. Got drum slime all in the boat
