My heart says Bass-grew up fishn bass, but Trout are more fun.
I think it depends on the circle of friends you fish with as well.
Either way would be nice hold a WR. My personal best trout was 27" 7lb 30z caught on a soft plastic I poured and actually messed up the color on. lol
Best bass was 8lb 13oz caught on 4lb line and was definitely a fun fish to catch.
