I want to congratulate "W" on sticking this monster! As soon as he stuck it he was hollering for the net, and it took a lot of effort on both of our parts to get this beauty into the boat after an epic battle.

We were fishing in a wooden boat (Haynie), and W was casting a refurbished core bought on Ebay. Rod was a Waterloo rod and the eyes were made from metal from Napoleon's sword from the Battle of Waterloo. It was their new NUNYA edition filled with Helium left over from the Hindenburg - light as a feather. W's monster weighed 8.234 lbs on count em, 2 separate bogas! Fish was right at 27inches so she didn't qualify for the dirty 30 club. Maybe next time...
