Ive always agreed with this. I dont know why they dont do it in advance. Bonnet Carre should be open by now imo

they can only divert so much water down the atchafalaya. it was at 7' a couple years ago and was only feet from the top of the levee... i couldnt imagine it at 10' like it was in 1973.

Do yall think opening Morganza is a mistake? it has always been my opinion that opening it again would be a huge mistake with the river wanting to go down the atchafalaya.
