Well picked up my new boat on Friday evening, and wasn't real sure where we were headed on Saturday. Got a phone call and was told that the specks had moved into the Trash Pile in Verm. Bay since last weekend. Got the boat all loaded with gear and gas on Saturday morning and figured well at least we gonna give the new motor some break in time, didn't have much hope with the river being so high. Got there at 9:30 Saturday morning and what do you know the first fish was a trout......
Well we picked away at them and would up with 35 beautiful trout....2-3# average, and a couple right at 4#. What a way to break in a new boat. Feeling really good after that we went back out bright and early this morning, well as per the Bay here today gone tomorrow...... 1 fish all morning
