If you have a jack plate and the bow lift is killing you on take off and stop, get a plate made to bolt or weld onto the bottom of the jackplate. This will increase surface area and decrease the bow lift from take off and stop. I'm not sure if it will ride out of the water. I'll try and find a pic or two from the internet.
