Big lake catches yesterday - super
We started out yesterday morning on the south end of the lake and after several moves that included west cove, the jetties and even the beach our last stop along the channel proved to be the best. First cast was a solid 25 inch trout and the next 30 came in an hour. None as big as the first one but pound and a half to 3 pound trout were there for the taking. Fishing with my old friend Gib DeLisle and Capt. Zach Mitchell was a fun way to spend the day on the water. Live shrimp was the only fare they would take but we gave them every opportunity to eat on Killer flats minnows and Hackberry Hustlers. We are closed until next Tuesday to celebrate the birth of our country and hope that you do the same in a safe way. Call Danita at 1.888.762.3391 and wish her a happy birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA
