yikes...we ended up going out of cyp point. had to wait out the first big thunderstorm. We watching the water rise about 8 inches in less than 5 minutes at the landing. It was frikin wicked. When we got there the dock was out the water, we look back nothing but the cleets sticking out and 30 seconds after that they were gone. As soon as the storm passed the water was gushing out.
Anyway we ran through the rain to the pass and stopped at a few reefs picking up a lot of dink trout which was fun, but we ran out in some pretty choppy seas and didn't pick up a spec. Did hook a spec that followed a white trout to the boat though. And a huge jack tried to eat my dads white trout as he was reeling in, but we didn't see it until it got to the boat. Came home with about dozen trout and a nice red.
