Bird island into oyster lake is 8-14 foot deep. Once you get into oyster lake it is 2-3 foot or less depending on the tide. The game wardens run the cut to the gulf but they dont care if they tear it up. In your boat I would go another route. The cut to get to the gulf from oyster has several almost 90 degree turns and is not very wide. You can get stuck in a hurry if you don't know where to pass. I learned the route in my whaler with a push pole. I don't think you want to push pole that sled you got.
