Anybody planning on coming to Delcambre for the Shrimp Festival?
Tonight the fair will open at 6:30 and starting at 7:00 we will have Blaine Roy, Jeff Griffith and Joe Stampley!
Tomorrow will be full of events including the shrimp cookoff starting at 9:00, Poker Run taking off at 9:15, fair opening at 10:00, water fights at 1:00 and music will be provided all day long by DJ Homer Stelly! There will be nothing but great music starting tomorrow afternoon with DJ Homer Stelly, Geno Delafonse, Mike Dean, Jaryd Lane and Tracy Lawrence!!
Sunday will start off with the Fisherman's Mass at 10:00 immediately followed by the Blessing of the Fleet, the fair will open at 11:00 and starting at noon music will be provided by TK Hulin, Warren Storm, Willie T and GG Shin!
There will be a $5 entry fee per person to get in tonight (8/19) & a $10 entry fee for tomorrow night (8/20). The food is by far the best around and the beer is ice cold (I can testify to this from last night)!!
If anybody is planning on coming down to Delcambre for the festival, let me know and we'll drink a beer or 12!!
