Yeah a chip will help it as long as you keep your foot out of it. It can help fuel mileage or hurt it depending on driving style. Also with the chip if you add a Cold air intake and cat back exhaust it will give you noticable power and fuel mpg increase. Never had a Tundra but have had Chevy gas trucks and Dodge and Ford diesels and chipped them all. Remeber Obama says keep the air pressure correct to maximize mpg.
