All I know is that I never had a complaint on a guide if they killed ducks or caught fish. I can't say the same if it was slow. We always work harder and stay out longer on the bad days but somehow it gets lost in the shuffle. I agree that some real sportsmen appreciate the effort and experience, but far to many equate enjoyment of the trip to bag or creel numbers. Can't change it, just have to except it!
