NCStar makes a nice 4x scope with illuminated reticle. I fondled one at a gun show recently and my next 10\22 build will have one. It was 80 bucks there so you can probably find it around 50 or 60 at amazon or google.
My current build has a BSA Red dot, no magnification. Made for killing armadillos out to 30 yards.
