Look up Chiwapa Millet. This stuff looks to be pretty good. If you have bare ground. Too late for much planting now though I would imagine. To get 'good' plants you really need to manipulate the ground by causing some sort of disturbance like disking. This will favor annual species of plants and weeds which ducks like.
