Low tide, low winds, high expectations
Ran down south today to check and see if any big boys had moved in off the beaches. We were greeted with a falling tide and a calm north breeze. Started poling in big water looking for giants but quickly realized that they have not moved to the interior just yet. Made our way into the marsh and we instantly ran into eager sheepsheads and redfish looking for a meal made of deer hair! Luckily me and Yak'em were willing and able to deliver the fast food meal they thought they were looking for. We even managed a double on the fly rod! Fishing in the marsh is heating up with the temperatures starting to go down. Now till the end of the year is going to be a phenomenal time to be in the marsh. I have plenty of days available if anyone would like to book a trip.
