Good suggestion Ray........Received a speeding ticket last year in N. La while heading back home. I admit I was speeding. Waited until Monday to call the local court house and requested to talk to the DA. The lady I spoke to ask what this was about and that she could possibly help. I proceeded to tell her, I had received a speeding ticket in their area, I do admit guilt and I was willing to pay the ticket but am requesting to move this to a non moving violation, as to not show up on my insurance. The lady immediately said, "sure I can take care of this for you." I asked what the total cost was to be and she replied, "just the ticket cost no court charges." Dropped the payment in the mail the next day.
