Default V-Bay/ Cove

Well since I been lurking since i signed up a few weeks ago and been enjoying all the reports I figure I will return the favor. I just wish I had a better report to give.

Launched at the park and was in the cove at 7am. Boat was stopped for literally a minute and we hooked the first fish. Thought is was going to be a good day but not so. There were 12-15 boats in the cove and no one was catching at all. We only put 6 trout in the boat all morning but were real nice size. The water wasn't too great in the cove. Maybe 8" of visibility and murky. The further away from the rocks you got the worse it got. We caught all the fish on avacado/chartruese bayou chubs. Not a bite on glow or purple which is what I normally catch on.

I went check Weeks Bay and there wasnt a boat in sight anywhere. Water was much clearer there. I fished the east side where everyone's been stacked up at the past few weeks but didn't get a bite at all so we packed it up and headed home at 10:30.
