Afternoon Redfish Bite!
Enjoyed a post Christmas fishing trip with my brothers Bob & Tommy and Tommys son Gavin Down On The DU!. A great afternoon to fish with beautiful weather earlier this week. The trout were elusive but the reds were on fire in Bayou Seveur. We had one hook up after the other as we found the fish stacked up on a falling tide. We fed them blueback swimbaits and glo/chartreuse until dark leaving them biting. Water temps were cold and the trout didn't bite that particular day. The reds make a great second choice as we always find something to stretch the line . Good luck fishing.
