Well, you won't like hearing this..............I just sold mine and it was the best day of my life as a camper owner. I will not say I will "never" have another one, but it will be a long time!!!! What a pain in the rear end. I served it's purpose, but in the end, you will never get your money out of a camper.

I originally purchased a 1998 Prowler in 2004 from a guy I knew and this thing was heavy, and had a washer/dryer in it. Got it for a good deal, but a year later it was damaged in a storm. I made a courtesy trade with that one and the insurance money to Gauthier's in Lafayette. Our next one was a 2006 Durango 5th wheel by KZ. It had the 4 bunks in the back so the kids could just climb up in their sleeping bags and we didn't have to mess with sheets, and sofas, and so on. It was nice, but now that I am out of it, I would have been better off going with a used one.

Also, now that we are in a "house" as a camp and not a camper, it is amazing how much more relaxing the weekends are. No more having to unclog the poop line, no more frozen water hose at 32degrees, no more power issues when the wife turns on the blow dryer..........you get the picture. Hopefully, I will not have the need for another one!
