Just got rid of my 1552 WeldBilt. Last year, pulled the floor up and found 30 broken welds. Buddy of mine had his break EVERY weld on the floor, split the bottom about 2' long 1" wide at the rear, sank the boat at the launch. Heard of several others having the same problem. Ha and I now own .100 gauge boats, just sayin.
Every 16' boat we have set up is about 2-4 mph slower than a 15' of the same make. Unless you absolutely have to have that extra foot, 15' is faster.
