i've been dying to get a 7mm-08
the .284 dia bullet has the best ballistic coefficient
light recoil & better numbers on paper than a .308
trajectory matches the .270
Out of the ones you mentioned, I've taken game with the .243 win, .270 win, & 7mm rem mag...
I like the 7 mag the best, .243 second, then .270....
The great writer Jack O'Connor touted the .270 as one of the best cartridges made, but I heard he secretly thought the .280 rem (7mm) was better.....
