That sample site is on one of the old platforms in the lake south of Turners. It's not very deep there so it's probably fresh all the way to the bottom. The ship channel may have some salt down deep, it would be interesting to know. The problem with the ship channel is that it has big ships that churn up the bottom pretty well. You would think that East and West pass would have some salt on the bottom. West Cove is shallow but it gets a good tide flush. What do you think?
