Dodging storms
Got off at 3 yesterday and ran to the Sabine jetties with black skies looming overhead. We ran to the outside of the LA rocks to find beautiful green water and immediatly began catching spanish mackerel. The storms were rolling just inland of us but we never saw a drop of rain. Then the front came over us. The wind began howling out of the east at at least 20mph. We just ran around the end of the rocks and started fishing inside the channel which was protected from the gale. Game on. We kept catching spanish with a few trout and reds. Had a blast of a trip and the kiddos caught some good ones.
